  : Perfect location, in the heart of Chueca. The building looks nice, is clean, and has an elevator to the 5th floor of this apartment. Very nice view over Plaza Chueca and Madrid. The apartment itself is rather clean, but still dust on the floor and under the beds. The beds are comfortable and there is a lot of space to store your clothes etc. Two apart bedrooms. Livingroom is comfortable and kitchen small but practical. Airconditioning gives good warmth in winter. Friendly staff. Normally they react in reasonable time.
  : Price is really overrated here, concerning quality. We experienced a very unpleasant situation concerning the bathroom. The water in the shower cabin was not flushing away because of a blockage, so every 30 seconds the shower should be stopped and we had to wait 2 minutes untill the water was flushed, and then it repeated. Also, the handshower was damaged, and the wall installation too. This was very sharp for the hands/skin. There was also fungi in the shower cabin.We reported this, and the staff came to look but nothing was repaired unfortunately, and we were not briefed about it, nor excused. For a place with this extreme high price, we think there is much to improve on this level. We really recommend the host to do so, and to lower the price anyway. At least inform the travellers about the possible inconveniences.

  : This is a great location right across the street from a metro stop. It was not too noisy during the week once the bar right below closed but weekends everybody partied all night long so make sure you close the windows. Overall a very comfortable and enjoyable place to stay.
  : The check-in process didn't work very well. There seems to be a communication problem between booking.com and the property manager. I gave them our arrival time several times but they didn't show up when we got to the apartment and we had to wait over an hour for somebody to get there. When Carlos arrived he was absolutely fantastic and helped us a lot even carrying heavy bags up the short stairs to the elevator. Anyone staying here should contact the them directly and make sure that they arranged for someone to be there because they don't have any place to pick up keys. Also, the heating units worked great but when the windows were closed it did get pretty warm in the apartment and we would have liked to have some cooling but the units were set to not do not do cooling for the winter.

  : The location and the views from the apartment were absolutely fantastic. You really had the feeling of living in the heart of a lively, buzzing neighbourhood. Of course at the weekend that meant a certain amount of noise from outside - but it was the steady sound of people's conversations in the cafes on the square, and not the kind of shrieking or shouting or drunken behaviour you'd get in England... And when you shut the apartment windows it was nice and quiet inside. I slept very well every night.
  : The only thing that we couldn't really understand was why there was a sliding door between the kitchen and the living room. If it were my apartment I'd get rid of the door and make it completely open-plan to let more light into the kitchen area. But that's just a design thing. We liked the apartment and felt very comfortable in it.

  : Fantastic location with a view in a great part of Madrid. Easy to get pretty much anywhere you want by foot and even easier by Metro. Carmen checked us in and was very informative on not only the facilities but the neighborhood as well.

  : Carlos was friendly, flexible and helpful. The apartment was in a great location in the center of it all surrounded by many shops and restaurants and in a few minutes walking distance of everything you would want to see in Madrid.The layout was great and it was clean and comfortable.
  : Pillows need improvement-it is always better to have extra and two per person. Also, the rug in the living room was a bit dirty a better design choice would help.

  : Location is great. The house is old but well kept, the apartment is beautiful and very well equipped. Lots of light. The beds are very comfortable. The neighborhood is very nice, lots of stores and places to eat.
  : It would be useful to have a trash bin in the bathroom. Water in the shower drains too slow. There is no good cutting knife in the kitchen.

  : Great location! Metro right in the plaza. Fruit/produce stand in the plaza and grocery right next door. We had strawberries and bread and cheese every breakfast. There's a market at other end of plaza that is full of food stands that is incredible! Tapas, fish, truffles, wine, whatever you wish. And beautiful olive wood bowls, cutting boards, spoons (we brought home for gifts). Even though the cafes and bars stayed open late into the night, we could close the windows and shutters for a quieter place. The heater/air conditioners worked fine. And we loved the views from every window. Carmen met us with keys. She was great.
  : Kitchen supplies limited. There were only 3 knives, 2 bread and 1 very long one. Hard to use for paring fruit, etc. There was no spatula. Dishes, pots and pans ok. No rack for drying clothes. The shower has a hand shower but the bracket was broken. The rain shower head worked fine. However the drain was slow and we had to be careful not to flood the bathroom.
