  : It was right in the heart of Madrid, and everything was really accessible within a walking range. Really good neighborhood. Hosts are very positive and helpful. It was an old building under government protection with really interesting elevator :)
  : The facility it self was kind of like an old home. The covers on the bed were not so comfy.

  : Perfect location - between Sol and Plaza Mayer. I loved sitting on the terrace at the end of the day. The apartment was very comfortable and surprisingly quiet considering its central location.
  : There were no sofas or lounge chairs to relax in.

  : Very central location, just off Puerta del Sol, so I could walk almost everywhere. Being so central it wasnt the quietest, but with windows and shutters closed it was ok. Kitchen facilities were fine, but no basics like salt, pepper, oil, coffee, tea. The bathroom actually had space to put toiletries and clothes! Not the biggest shower, but plenty of hot water. The staff was very nice, helpful and responsive. I liked the WhatsApp based key system; no need to haul around keys or key cards. The wifi was ok (I used my SIM card wifi as it was faster).

  : We woke up at 3:00 am to the noise of someone kicking the door to our unit. The property uses remote keys via a link and an app to open the doors. Within 1-2 min, the door was buzzed open and we found few men entering our unit. After they hear us shouting at them, they left our unit. We secured the door by putting the dinning table behind it, but could not sleep. After calling the front desk, the night shift personnel told us that those men "assured" her that they are staying at our unit. To which we responded: "did they give you our names?". She answered that they were too drunk to remember their names. You can guess the rest of that conversation. Next morning, we spoke with manager and he told us that he fired the responsible employee. And as an apology, he can offer us: 1 free night if we come back to Madrid or about 8% discount on what we paid for our current stay, BUT we have to first cancel our reservation via Booking.com. We had one more night left from our 4-night stay and we did not understand the point for cancelation at that point. Therefore, we did not accept the offer.

  : Location was great. Walkable to most places. Ambience and character
  : Kitchen was tiny, not much by way of kitchen facilities . Water heater isnt sufficient for a family of 4, had to wait a bit for water to heat up between showers.

  : Great location. Large apartment with windows onto the small street below. Staff also very welcoming and helpful.
  : Being so central the street was a bit noisy at night. The apartment had a bath but no plug and a plug and wine glasses would also have wen appreciated.
